Senator Jeff Klein and assemblymen Mark Gjonaj and Michael Benedetto hosted their annual tree lighting at Rudy Macina Memorial Peace Plaza on Thursday, December 15.
The event featured live holiday music, gifts and an appearance by Santa Claus.
After the lighting and festivities, Santa led a procession by horse drawn carriage to a second tree lighting in nearby Lorteo Park.
