Van Cortlandt Park’s Memorial Day Concert

On Sunday, May 24 a free Memorial Day concert sponsored by Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz and the Bronx Arts Ensemble was held in Van Cortlandt Park. The event honoring our nation’s fallen service members was lead by conductor David Gilbert and featured live musical performances from soprano Halley Gilbert, trumpet soloist Angela Grosse, trombonist Papo Vazquez and tenor saxophonist Willie Williams accompanied by the Bronx Arts Ensemble.
