On Wednesday, February 11, veterans at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center received a special visit from Cupid as United War Veterans Council volunteers distributed handmade cards and gifts to approximately 100 military members as part of the council’s annual Valentine’s Day Goodwill Caravan. UWVC delivered thousands of cards and gifts donated by the community to active service members, veterans, and military families at veterans’ hospitals and military bases throughout the five boroughs.
