Over 75 Timberland employee volunteers and non-profit GrowNYC partners unveiled the newly revitalized United We Stand Garden in celebration of the company’s 16th Annual Service Day in New York on Thursday, September 8.

The event also commemorated the 15th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Volunteers planted, painted and constructed a stage to provide the Mott Haven neighborhood with a beautiful 32,000 square foot community garden functioning as a destination for urban agriculture and an outdoor hub for residents.

Timberland volunteers took a much deserved break to celebrate United We Stand Garden’s complete revitalization.
