Six Success Academy Bronx 1 Middle School Band musicians received top scores at the New York State School Music Association’s Solo Festival on Saturday, March 12 held at the Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music. Angelo Esteverez, D’anwill Velez, Geremiah Ballesteros, Martin Arrington, Trista Montenegro and Wuraola Adetola all ranked in the highest ‘Outstanding’ category after performing instrumental solos, sight-reading and scales.
