40th Precinct

Saturday, October 6 at 3 p.m — A burglary was reported to cops as having taken place at a commercial establishment at 2918 Third Avenue. When the individual, a Hispanic man who was bald, gained entry into the business by forcing open a side door, he took a television from a wall mount. He then fled in an unknown direction. He was last seen clothed in a red and black tracksuit, a red and black Chicago Bulls baseball cap and red and black sneakers.

41st Precinct

Sunday, October 14 at 3:46 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call regarding an emotionally disturbed person at an Intervale Avenue subway station (within Transit District 12). When they got to the scene, they found a 48-year-old man unresponsive and unconscious on top of the landing of the escalator. EMS arrived at the scene as well and took the man to Lincoln Hospital. He was pronounced deceased. The medical examiner will determine the cause of the man’s death. As of press time, the investigation remained ongoing.

45th Precinct

Monday, September 24 at 8:15 p.m. — A 48-year-old man was assaulted while waiting fro an MTA bus on the corner of East Tremont Avenue and Randall Avenue. An unidentified man approached the victim and struck him in the face with an unknown object and demanded money. The victim fought back against the man, and the suspect fled. He was last seen running toward East Tremont Avenue. The victim had sustained a laceration to the face and was taken by ambulance to Jacobi Hospital, where he was then treated and released. The unidentified individual is described as a black man who is about 18 years old. He is five feet, seven inches tall with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, a black du rag, gray jeans, black sneakers and a red backpack.

Thursday, October 4 at 4:45 p.m. — Inside of a store at 173 Dreiser Loop, an unidentified individual gained entry into the store by breaking a glass door. When he got inside, he took about $500 in cash from the store’s register before fleeing on foot. He is described a black man between 20 years old and 30 years old. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing and a dark colored hat.

47th Precinct

Saturday, October 13 at 6:30 p.m. –As of press time, cops were looking for a missing person who was last seen at a family residence on Bronx Boulevard. The person is described as a female Hispanic who is 13. She is about four feet, eleven inches and 170 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater with black shoes and carrying a black handbag.

49th Precinct

Saturday, October 6 at 5:20 a.m. — Cops in the 49th Precinct are looking for an individual who robbed a 68-year-old woman on White Plains Road. The robbery was reported to cops as haven happened near 2148 White Plains Road. The woman was held up by the individual, who grabbed her and demanded money. She was then struck in the head with a bottle and then took her Galaxy smartphone, debit card, and $5 in cash. EMS responded and took the woman to a local hospital where she received treatments for cuts on her head and lacerations on her face. The man is described as black with dark skin in his 40s. He was about six feet and was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants.

52nd Precinct

Sunday, October 14 at 4:26 a.m. — Three individuals robbed a deli at 275 E. Gun Hill Road. One of three individuals entered the store with a gun and demanded cash from an employee behind the counter. A second individual tied up two other employees in the back of the store. In the meantime, the third individual went behind a counter and took $1,100 from a cash register. They fled in a dark color sedan.
