. — A

45-year-old man was the victim of a robbery at a gas station on City Island when another man approached him and a dispute ensued. During the course of the incident, the man stabbed the victim in the back and slashed his left arm before fleeing the scene in a white BMW. Initial reports indicated that the men knew each other.

Friday, April 1, 2:30 p.m. — A centenarian was the victim of a hold up in a Co-op City building. The 103-year-old woman was followed as she returned to her apartment in an elevator on Bellamy Loop. When she got off the elevator and into the hallway a suspect knocked her to the floor and grabbed a cart containing two meals she had gotten from a community center, as well her purse with money and credit cards. The suspect is described as a black female who is five feet, eight inches and weighs 250 pounds.

day, April 1, 8:30 p.m.

Cops are looking for two suspects in a robbery at a barber shop at 3028 Buhre Avenue. Two thugs waked into the shop with a gun. The two men allegedly took a 29-year-old man’s chain and bracelet and then fled on Jarvis Avenue. The suspects are both described as black men. One was approximately six foot, two inches tall and about 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing gray sweats. The second man is about five feet, eight inches tall and about 160 pounds, a light complexion and a green and brown camouflage outfit.

— A robbery was reported at a bank at 248 E. Fordham Road when a man approached the victim, a 25-year-old woman, at knife point and forced her to withdraw $500 from an ATM at the bank.

, March 26, 9:08 p.m

— Cops responded to a report of a traffic accident near Allerton and Barnes avenues. When they got to the scene, they found a 37-year-old man who was unconscious. He was brought to Jacobi Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. After an investigation, police determined he was driving a

black 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe on Allerton Avenue when he hit two parked cars and a light pole as he careened into 800 Allerton Avenue.
