Ventriloquist Show

Ventriloquist John Pizzi, who is an acclaimed comedian who appeared in season six of the network television program America’s Got Talent, will present two ‘big shows’ at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 7.

The venue is The Pelham Picture House, a historic theater, located in Pelham, N.Y. at 175 Wolfs Lane.

Pizzi, who promises to serve up ‘comedy that goes over the edge,’ and the performances are called Crossing the Line.

The Crossing the Line performances are being produced by John Golasso. More information can be found about John, who is from Throggs Neck, at justlaugh.org

The associate producer for the performances is Mike Morse and the photographer is Franco Frasetti.

John Gaffney, who passed away on September 28, 2017, is being remembered by his loving wife Maria Barrera Gaffney and by his grandchildren on the first anniversary of his passing.

Prostate Cancer

Screening Event

In honor of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Montefiore and Fans 4 the Cure are hosting a prostate cancer screening event on Saturday, September 29.

The event is free and open to all men who are 40 years old and older.

In addition to the screenings, which take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Montefiore’s 1695 Eastchester Road location, everyone in attendance will receive some health-related education about the disease of prostate cancer.
