43 Precinct

Wednesday, September 5 at 3:01 a.m. — Cops responded to a report of a domestic assault inside of 1579 Metropolitan Avenue. When they got to the scene, they found a 46-year-old woman with stab wounds to her torso and a 52-year-old man with stab wounds to the torso and the head. EMS took both to Jacobi Medical Center, where the woman was pronounced dead. The man was listed in stable condition shortly after the incident and is in custody with charges pending. Two knives were take from the scene.

Sunday, September 16 at 4:22 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call of an assault of two men in front of 2026 Westchester Avenue. Cops found a 34-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to the torso and a 35-year-old man with stab wounds as well. EMS took both to Jacobi Hospital, where the 34-year-old man died.

44 Precinct

Friday, August 31 at 9 p.m. — A Hispanic man who is approximately 35-years-old exposed himself to a 23-year-old woman while traveling on IND D train near the East 161st Street/Yankee Stadium subway station. The man weights 175 pounds and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, sneaker and carrying a black computer style bag.

Sunday, September 9 at 12:20 p.m. — Police got a report of a robbery that occurred in front of 2317 Lyon Avenue. An individualize approached a 19-year-old woman and attempted to take her purse, which included about $20 in cash and a Samsung phone. The individual cut the woman’s purse strap with a sharp object, and in the process, cut the victim on her finger. The individual is described as a black man in his mid 20s to early 30s and approximately five feet, ten inches tall. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

48 Precinct

Monday, September 17 at 11:07 a.m. — Cops got a reported of an attempted robbery inside of a deli located at on East 187th Street. A individual posed a customer and placed a food order before he walked behind the customer service counter, took out a gun and demanded money. When a 38-year-old male employee hesitated to hand him the money, he was struck in the head with the gun. The employee managed to wrestle the handgun away from the individual. The individual, described as a black man, fled the store on Hoffman Street. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatband, a black hooded sweater, dark colored jeans and black sneakers.
