Sunday, April 10, 12:02 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call of an assault inside the St. Mary’s Houses at 645 Westchester Avenue. They found a 30-year-old man with stab wounds to the neck and torso. He was brought by ambulance to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

47 Precinct

Wednesday, April 6, 3:00 p.m. — Cops are looking for a suspect who threatened an employee with a cane at the Andrea Hotel located at 2221 New England Thruway.

The suspect walked in, threatened the employee and fled with $250 after struggling with the victim. The victim was not hospitalized as the result of the this incident.

49 Precinct

Tuesday, March 1, 9:00 a.m. — A 39-year-old witnessed an attempted burglary when she saw a man enter a building through a window. The man identified himself as an exterminator and then fled through the same open window. He was described by the woman as Hispanic, about 16-years-old, with a light complexion and black curly hair.

52 Precinct

Wednesday, March 16, 2:00 p.m. — A burglary occurred when a suspect entered an apartment near Valentine Avenue and stole two Sony Playstations. The suspect is a black man last seen wearing green pants, black jacket, black sneakers and a black hat. He fled the scene in Hyundai Tucson with a panoramic roof.

Friday, April 8, 3:30 p.m. — A 15-year-old young man was the victim of a robbery as he sat on a bench inside Poe Park on the Grand Concourse. A group of three men threatened him with bodily harm if he did not turn over his phone. He surrendered an iPhone before the suspects fled.

An hour later, the same three men approached a 16-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man inside the park and also demanded property, but fled with nothing.

The three suspects are in their teens and all were wearing a dark hoodies or jackets.
