Monday, July 9 at 3:09 p.m. — A 35-year-old inmate at Rikers Island, which is in the precinct’s service area, was pronounced dead. A 27-year-old inmate is being held for murder.

43 Precinct

Friday, August 10 at 4:05 p.m. — Cops got a report of a robbery at gunpoint. A 31-year-old man was entering into a vehicle near White Plains Road and Lafayette Avenue when he was approached from behind by another man with a gun. The man put the gun to the victim’s head, and after a brief struggle, took the victim’s gold chain before fleeing the scene. The individual is described as a black man with a thin build who is 22-years-old to 27-years-old. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts with Nike logo on them and a black baseball hat.

44 Precinct

Tuesday, August 14 at 5:05 a.m. — Cops found a 26-year-old woman who was unconscious and unresponsive near Undercliff Avenue and Boscobel Place. There was no obvious trauma. She was transported to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

49 Precinct

Sunday, August 12 at 8:11 a.m. — Cops got a call concerning an unconscious woman inside of 1744 Garfield Street. When they arrived on the second floor, officers discovered a 38-year-old woman inside of a residence who was unresponsive. E

MS took her to Montefiore, where she was pronounced dead.
