Wednesday, August 1 at 8:50 a.m — Cops received a report of a unidentified man who fired several shots from a gun in the direction of three men who were walking on Intervale Avenue. One of the bullets hit the front passenger door of a parked and unoccupied Jeep Cherokee in front of 855 Intervale Avenue. No injuries were reported. The individual who shot the gun is described as a black man who was last seen wearing light-color sneakers and a black T-shirt and pants.

44 Precinct

Thursday, August 2 at 1:53 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call concerning an unconscious infant inside 1312 Clay Avenue. When they arrived at an apartment in the building, cops report they found a 3-month old unresponsive baby boy with no apparent signs of trauma. EMS took the child to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation remains ongoing, according to police.

45 Precinct

Wednesday, June 27 at 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. — It was reported to police that an unidentified woman entered a shopping center on Baychester Avenue and used personal information belonging to a 55-year-old woman to open credit card accounts and make unauthorized purchases at various stores. The purchases totaled about $2,400. She was an adult woman black who wearing tights and a pink hooded sweatshirt.

Wednesday, August 1 at 4:45 p.m. — A robbery was reported to cops. The crime was reported to have taken place at a mobile store located at 65 Westchester Square. Two individuals, both described as white men who were about 25-years-old, approached a 25-year-old woman who is a store employee with a gun and demanded money. The employee refused to grant the request and the two individuals fled in an unknown direction. One of the individuals was 200 pounds with an athletic build, had blue eyes and was approximately six feet tall. Another of the individuals was weighed about 180 pounds, was of average height and had short brown hair and brown eyes.

49 Precinct

Sunday, July 22 at 2:28 p.m. — Cops report that an 18-year-old man was shot once in the back in front of 950 Mace Avenue. He was also hit twice in his buttocks and once in his arm by bullets shot by a person known to police. EMS responded to the scene and took the victim to Jacobi Medical Center where he received medical treatment and then was released.
