St. Barnabas staffer recognized

Dr. E.J. Imafidon, an administrative director at St. Barnabas Hospital, is one of six scholars from throughout the country selected for the 2018 Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program.

The year-long program will help further prepare the doctor to advance to higher leadership roles in the healthcare industry.

The doctor, a native of Nigeria and an executive at St. Barnabas and SBH Health Systems, is responsible for the hospital’s women and child health services, specifically business operations of the Pediatric and Obstetrics and the Gynecology divisions.

Imafidon will work one-on-one in the program with a mentor and be a part of formal leadership education.

TNNA hosts annual dinner dance

The Throggs Neck Benevolent Association will hold their annual dinner dance on Saturday, January 27 at 7 p.m.

The dinner is an opportunity for neighbors to catch up with old friends and help the TNBA help local people in need.
