42 Precinct

Tuesday, November 7 at 2:14 a.m. — Cops are investigating a person they found dead on arrival. They responded to a 911 call of unconscious woman inside of 1480 Washington Avenue, apartment 6A, in the Morris Houses. They found the 29-year-old woman on the floor with trauma to her face. When EMS got to the scene, they pronounced the woman DOA. The medical examiner will determine what caused the death.

44 Precinct

Saturday, October 28 at 6:05 a.m. — An attempted abduction that was ultimately unsuccessful was reported to cops. A black man wearing all black who was about 30-years-old to 40-years-old approached a 16-year-old female as she was walking opposite 150 Clarke Place. He tried to force her into a dark colored vehicle. She was able to resist his physical assault and run. EMS responded and transported her to a local hospital where she was treated for bruising on her left temple and knuckles.

48 Precinct

Thursday, November 2 at 11:30 p.m. — Cops got a report of a robbery inside of a residential building near Crotona Avenue and East 175th Street. An individual that police describe as a dark-skinned male last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap and a long sleeved shirt waited for two victims to enter a building. When they got inside a hallway, he pulled a knife and demanded that they turn over their possessions. After a female victim’s purse was taken, the man she was with began to struggle with the robber. The male victim was slashed in his right arm. In the midst of the scuffle, the female victim struck the assailant with a broom handle before he fled the building.

52 Precinct

Friday, October 13 at 11:30 p.m. — A robbery pattern has become evident in the precinct. An incident in which a 34-year-old man was robbed near Knox Place and West Gun Hill Road seems to fit a pattern established by a similar robbery on Friday, September 1. The victim was approached by three people and put in a choke hold. His Samsung phone and $390 in cash were taken before the individuals fled.
