The Bronx Jewish Center’s faithful celebrated the seven-day holiday Sukkot, the Festival of the Booths, on Sunday, October 8 at Ben Abrams Playground.

The holiday was celebrated by eating inside a sukkah, a temporary structure covered with vegetation commemorating the time the Jews wandered in the desert wilderness and the miraculous clouds that surrounded them.

Steve Glosser recited the Blessing of the Four Kinds after Nechama Pewzner (r) and her children, Levi and Leah, offered him the lulav and etrog.
