EMTs prepared one of the injured victims for medical transport while the FDNY examined the crashed vehicles blocking Exit 7C.

The Bruckner Expressway Country Club Road, exit 7C was the scene of a multi-car accident this weekend. According to police, 45th Precinct police officers responded to a report of a collision on Sunday, September 3 at 12:50 p.m. at MacDonough Place near the expressway. An unknown vehicle was travelling northbound when it struck a 2010 Infinity operated by a 27-year-old woman and fled the scene. As the woman pulled her car over to a safety zone, it was struck by a 2017 Hyundai driven by a 34-year-old man. The Hyundai’s operator stated that an unknown second vehicle then struck both vehicles causing them to strike the guardrail. The second unknown vehicle also fled the scene. EMS transported the woman to Bronx Municipal Hospital to treat her back pain. The man refused medical treatment. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
