To raise awareness of the city’s free summer meals program and the 15 sites that will participate, Councilman Rafael Salamanca and former New York Yankee Jim Leyritz passed out milk and Yankees tickets to P.S. 75 students on Wednesday, June 28. District 17’s Urban Assembly School for Careers in Sports, Barretto Playground, M.S. 302, P.S. 75, P.S. 152, the Hunts Point School, Bronx River Mini Pool, Horseshoe Playground, J.H.S. 98, P.S. 150, P.S. 211, P.S. 214, Julio Carballo Park and Melrose Playground will serve free meals to anyone under 18 from Thursday, June 29 to Friday, September 1.
