43rd PCT.

Wednesday, Sept. 5, 10:45 a.m. — A 73-year-old female, was dropped off at her apartment building on East 174th Street by an Access-A-Ride. The suspect, who was the driver of the Access-A-Ride, requested to use the victim’s bathroom. Once in the bathroom, the suspect began to moan. When the victim went to check on him, he was standing in his hallway holding his erect penis in his hand. The victim began to yell and the suspect fled. There were no reported injuries.

Saturday, Sept. 12, 1:52 a.m. — Police officers responded to 1190 Commerce Avenue. Upon arrival, the officers discovered that a motorcyclist travelling southbound on Commerce Avenue had lost control eventually striking a fence at the location. The 30-year-old male operator of the motorcycle and the 27-year-old female passenger were both transported to Jacobi Hospital where the female was pronounced dead.

Monday, Sept. 14 –Police responded to call at 40 Marcy Avenue. Upon arrival officers discovered a 73 year-old male unconscious and unresponsive in Apt 3E. EMS also responded and pronounced the male deceased at the scene. The Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.

45th PCT.

Friday, Sept. 11, 10:46 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a bicycle collision at City Island Bridge and City Island Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 27 year-old female unconscious and unresponsive with severe head trauma. EMS removed the female to Jacobi Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. An investigation revealed that the female was riding a bicycle heading west bound over the City Island Bridge when she was struck by a white Hyundai sedan which then fled the scene.

Monday, Sept. 7, 12:20 a.m. — A man entered a restaurant at 2376 Ryer Avenue, where he was involved in a dispute and was asked to leave. As he was escorted out, the suspect became agitated and stabbed a 24 year-old male in the shoulder before fleeing the location. The victim was removed to St. Barnabas where he was treated and released. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who was last seen wearing a white tank top.

Wednesday, August 19, 2:04 p.m. — Two females entered a deli/grocery store located at 271 East 206th Street and one of the females engaged in a verbal dispute with a 10-year-old male. The female then proceeded to punch the boy in the face, causing him to bleed from his nose. Both females then left the location together. The victim refused medical attention at the scene. The suspect is described as a female Black, approximately 35- to 45-years-old, with long, braided black hair, last seen wearing a dark colored skirt and a white button down shirt with a black design on it.

Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 10:35 p.m. — Police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 2727 Decatur Avenue. Officers determined that a 31-year-old male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the torso in front of 2701 Decatur Avenue. The male was transported via private means to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
