Police are looking for a man that robbed 10 cases of beer from a supermarket across from the Bronx Hall of Justice in the 44th Precinct.

It happened midday on Tuesday, May 12, when the unknown man allegedly broke into a side door at the Food Bazaar, making off with 10 cases of Heineken at about 2:35 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Later that night, a 58-year-old employee discovered damage to the side door’s lock, which tipped off the supermarket to the burglary.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of this person or why he chose to steal Heineken over plenty of other, better beers is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
