40th PCT.

FRI, JUNE 26th, 7:55 p.m. – Tri-Borough Bridge. Emergency units responded to the Bronx span of the bridge after a pick-up truck apparently crossed several lanes trying to reach an exit lane. An accident occurred sending one person to an area hospital, but unfortunately the victim expired at Lincoln Medical Center. Officers from Highway 1’s Accident Investigation Squad are assisting with the inquiry.

SAT, JUNE 27th, 1:00 a.m. – East 140 St. Authorities are looking into a shooting that sent the male victim to Lincoln Medical Center. The victim expired in 45 minutes after being shot. Now detectives are faced with a homicide inquiry.

MON, JUNE 29th, 11:15 p.m. – 584 East 137 St. A 17 year old girl was arrested by undercover police officers. Members of the Bronx Anti-Crime Unit nabbed the teen after she was found with a 9-mm pistol. The gun was vouched for future court use.

WED, JULY 1st, 11:30 p.m. – Jackson Ave. and East 145 St. A 38-caliber revolver was removed from possible street use by undercover police officers. Members of the Bronx Anti-crime unit arrested the suspect who was in possession of an unregistered 38-caliber revolver.

41st PCT.

SAT, JUNE 27th, 3:50 p.m. – Hunts Point Ave. and Oak Point Ave. Additional police officers were sent into the Hunts Point peninsula to help control a large group. Officers issued summons for disorderly conduct to three persons. Authorities without any additional problems cleared the street.

MON, JUNE 29th, 11:15 p.m. – Leggett Ave. and Beck St. Emergency medical workers at Lincoln Medical Center came to the aid of an 18-year-old black male when he arrived at the facility unannounced. The teenager was found to be suffering from bullet wounds to the leg and butt areas. Police investigators were summoned to the hospital to gather information about the incident.

42nd PCT.

FRI, JUNE 26th, 10:40 p.m. – 907 East 173 St. Authorities are looking into a homicide that claimed the life of a 25-year-old black male. The male victim was transported to Lincoln Medical Center suffering from a bullet wound to the chest. He expired at 3:30 a.m. the following morning. Local detectives will handle the inquiry.

FRI, JUNE 26th, 10:45 p.m. – 1579 Vyse Ave. Police officers continue to recover illegal handguns from local streets. The arresting officer vouched this time a 32-caliber semi-automatic pistol.

SAT, JUNE 27th, 9:40 p.m. – Third Ave. and St. Paul’s Pl. Officials have indicated that an investigation is underway as detectives look into a report that shots had been fired. Responding police officers received information to indicate that at lease six bullets had been fired. Authorities found no victims and were unable to locate any damage to nearby property.

SUN, JUNE 28th, 12:50 a.m. – Southern Blvd. and East 174 St. Three victims of a shooting were assisted by first responders arriving at the busy intersection. Police officers found two black women and a black male suffering from bullet wounds. Two of the victims were transported and treated at St. Barnabas Hospital. The third victim was removed to Lincoln Medical Center for medical care. Officials indicated that a gun was recovered and a suspect was arrested.

SUN, JUNE 28th, 12:55 a.m. – Boston Rd. and Suburban Pl. Police took a 19-year-old black male into custody. The teen was charged with illegal possession of a gun. Recovered was a 357-caliber magnum.

MON, JUNE 29th, 10:45 p.m. – 1586 Washington Ave. City officials were forced to remove an emotionally disturbed person from the building. A stun gun was used by police officials to gain control of the victim.

43rd PCT.

SUN, JUNE 28th, 12:30 p.m. – 413 Sound View Ave. A Hispanic male required medical help after being shot. The injured male was suffering from a bullet wound to the leg when police officers found him. The injured male was admitted to Jacobi Medical Center as investigators looked into the incident.

SUN, JUNE 28th, 8:10 p.m. – Westchester Ave. Authorities are looking into a shooting that sent a 16-year-old male to Jacobi Medical Center. The teenage boy was suffering from a bullet wound to the inner thigh officials indicated.

TUES, JUNE 30th, 3:30 a.m. – 15 Classon Point Lane South. The staff at Jacobi Medical Center’s Emergency Room treated a male who had been shot. The shooting victim was taken to the hospital suffering from a bullet wound to the right foot.

TUES, JUNE 30th, 8:45 p.m. – 1791 Westchester Ave. Police are looking into a recent string of robberies that have struck Dunkin Donuts stores. At gunpoint the culprit took an unknown amount of money before fleeing. Detectives are looking into the recent rash of incidents to see if the are connected.

44th PCT.

FRI, JUNE 26th, 5:00 p.m. – 974 Sheridan Ave. Police are looking into a shooting that sent a man to Lincoln Medical Center. A 47-year-old Hispanic male was shot once in the arm medical authorities informed investigators. Local sleuths will spearhead the inquiry.

SAT, JUNE 27th, 12:30 a.m. – 1237 Webster Ave. An alert police officer nabbed a suspect who was in possession of an illegal handgun. Taken off the streets this time was a 25-caliber handgun.

SAT, JUNE 27th, 6:10 p.m. – 955 Sheridan Ave. A local patrol officer vouched another illegal weapon. The gun was taken off the streets of Morrisiana with the arrest of its owner.

SAT, JUNE 27th, 9:55 p.m. – Washington Ave. and East 168 St. A teenage was arrested after police officers found the young boy with a semi-automatic pistol. Police arrested a 15-year-old black male who was in possession of a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol.

MON, JUNE 29th, 7:20 p.m. – Morrisiana community. Authorities are looking into a report that a 12-year-old youth sexually assaulted a two-year-old child. The infant was taken to Lincoln Medical Center for treatment.

TUES, JUNE 30th, 4:05 a.m. – Inwood Ave. and West 169 St. A 23 year old black male was arrested after police recovered a gun that was in his possession. Facing a day in court will be Karem Rowe who had an unregistered 9-mm pistol with him when he was arrested.

WED, JULY 1st, 11:25 a.m. – 35 McClellan St. The staff at Lincoln Medical Center treated a 68-year-old Hispanic male. The Latino man had been shot in the cheek officials indicated.

45th PCT.

TUES, JUNE 30th, 1:15 p.m. – 2511 Tratman Ave. The death of a 4-month-old baby was deemed not suspicious by authorities. The infant was taken to Westchester Square Hospital where doctors indicated that the baby died.

WED, JULY 1st, 5:35 p.m. – Rodman Neck. An on duty police officer was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center. The officer, an instructor at the police dept. shooting range, was injured during a live firearms display. The officer was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where he was reported to be in good condition.

46th PCT.

SAT, JUNE 27th, 1:20 a.m. – Walton Ave. and East 177 St. Bronx police were notified that a male was at a Manhattan hospital suffering from a bullet wound. Police were summoned to Harlem Hospital after a male arrived there suffering from a bullet wound to the arm. Detectives from the Ryer Ave. Squad will handle the inquiry.

SUN, JUNE 28th, 3:30 a.m. – East Tremont Ave. and East Burnside Ave. A city worker required medical attention after being attacked. The on duty employee, a member of the Park Department’s staff at Echo Park, was assaulted by an unknown person. The worker suffered a fracture jaw during a dispute.

MON, JUNE 29th, 1:00 a.m. – 71 West 182 St. A suspect was arrested by local police officers who found the culprit in possession of a 357-caliber pistol.

WED, JULY 1st, 6:35 p.m. – Creston Ave. and East 188 St. An injured teenager was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital. The 18-year-old black male was suffering from a bullet wound to the leg. The teen was reported to be in stable condition.

47th PCT.

FRI, JUNE 26th, 4:40 p.m. – 4399 White Plains Rd. Authorities are looking for a Hispanic male who robbed the Wakefield Dunkin Donuts store. The unidentified culprit entered the coffee shop with his hands in his pocket indicating that he had a gun. The male culprit demanded money from the cash register and was given five hundred in cash before fleeing.

FRI, JUNE 26th, 9:45 p.m. – Barnes Ave. and East 217 St. Police have begun an investigation into a shooting that resulted in a 45-year-old woman being taken to Jacobi Medical Center. The woman, who was reported to be in stable condition, was suffering from a bullet wound to the side of her body.

SAT, JUNE 27th, 4:25 a.m. – Boston Rd. and Conner St. A male was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition. As police officers from the Laconia Ave. station house gathered information about the incident, the staff at Jacobi Medical Center was busy treating the injured victim.

SUN, JUNE 28th, 2:45 a.m. – Barnes Ave. and Burke Ave. The staff at Jacobi Medical Center treated an 18 year old. The male teen was suffering from a superficial wound to the head. Detectives are looking into the incident.

MON, JUNE 29th, 12:45 p.m. – Barnes Ave. and Cranford Ave. A 23-year-old male was arrested in the Wakefield community. The arresting officer charged the suspect with possession of a 25-caliber pistol. The weapon was vouched for future court use.

MON, JUNE 29th, 10:00 p.m. – 3728 Bronxwood Ave. Local detectives are currently faced with a homicide inquiry. A 31-year-old black male was shot in the head. Police were summoned along with medical assistance to the crime scene. Despite medical effects to assist the victim, he expired at 10:40 p.m.

TUES, JUNE 30th, 3:00 a.m. – East 233 St. and Baychester Ave. The staff at Montifiore Hospital treated a male who entered the hospital seeking help. The male was suffering from bullet wounds to the left finger and upper arm. Police were summoned to the hospital to gather information about the shooting.

TUES, JUNE 30th, 6:10 p.m. – 3483 Mickle Ave. Authorities indicated that a male who had been shot expired the following day. The victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center with two bullet wounds to the back. But unfortunately the victim died 20 hours later. Now detectives are faced with a homicide inquiry.

TUES, JUNE 30th, 10:55 p.m. – White Plains Rd. and East 222 St. A teenager was taken off the street after police officers found him with a gun. Police recovered a 32-caliber pistol from the 18-year-old male’s possession.

48th PCT.

FRI, JUNE 26th, 4:55 p.m. – 495 East 188 St. Crime Scene personnel were needed after officials found the body of a 60-year-old black woman. The body was discovered inside the woman’s home. Detectives were summoned to the scene and needed the experts from the Crime Scene to assist them.

TUES, JUNE 30th, 11:15 p.m. – East 183 St. and Webster Ave. A 26-year-old male was attacked during a robbery. The man not only lost a cell-phone and twenty dollars, but also was stabbed once in the stomach. The injured victim was transported several blocks away to St. Barnabas Hospital for medical care.

WED, JULY 1st, 2:00 p.m. – East 187 St. and Beaumont Ave. A suspect was arrested for possessing an unregistered handgun. Recovered by authorities was a 9-mm carbine.

49th PCT.

FRI, JUNE 26th, 7:10 p.m. – White Plains Rd. and Brady Ave. Three persons were transported to area hospitals. Investigators are trying to learn what provoked the incident and find the responsible parties. The staff at Montifiore Hospital treated two victims while Jacobi Medical Center provided care for the third person. Officials indicated that two of the victims were suffering from stab wounds while the third victim had been struck in the head with an unknown object.

50th PCT.

SUN, JUNE 28th, 10:40 a.m. – 3700 Henry Hudson Pkwy. An investigation was launched by a specialized police unit. The Bias Unit was notified that a phase considered to be bias was discovered at a Riverdale building. Written on an exterior wall was “Free Palestine.” Now, local investigators will work with the highly specialized members of the Bias Unit on this inquiry.

52nd PCT.

MON, JUNE 29th, 9:15 p.m. – 91 East 208 St. Two black males wearing masks invaded a home. At gunpoint they entered the residence and fled with an unknown amount of money besides jewelry.

WED, JULY 1st, 1:55 a.m. – East 198 St. and Bainbridge Ave. Police arrested a 19 year black male who was in possession of a 25-caliber pistol. The weapon was unregistered and the teenage owner could be facing a year in jail if found guilty during his trail.

WED, JULY 1st, 3:45 p.m. – 2787 Webster Ave. Authorities are looking into a robbery of a commercial premise. Two unidentified black males entered the business displaying firearms. The culprits fled with five hundred dollars in cash besides cell-phones. Additional police officers were deployed into the area to help search for the culprits.

Transit

MON, JUNE 29th, 9:15 p.m. – Bainbridge Ave. and East 205 St. Police officers from Transit District # 11 and the 52nd Pct are teaming up to conduct a search for the male suspect who robbed a woman at knifepoint. The robbery took place at the IND ‘D’ train station in the Norwood section. Additional police officers were deployed into the community to help search for the culprit.
