Monday, May 22 at 10:30 p.m. — A 23-year-old woman was the victim of a robbery as she sat aboard a subway train. An unidentified individual, described as a black man who is about 40-years-old, brandished a gun and demanded her money. After taking $10 dollars from the victim, he fled at a train station located at East 177th Street near Parkchester. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and beige pants.

Saturday, June 3 at 9:44 p.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call of a man shot in the back of 1140 Wheeler Avenue. Upon arriving, officers found a 22-year-old man unconscious and not responsive. EMS took the victim to Jacobi Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

46 Precinct

Saturday, May 27, at 8:50 p.m. — An assault was reported to cops as having taken place in front of 2037 Jerome Avenue following a verbal dispute. The victim, a 36-year-old woman, and a 45-year-old man were standing in front of the location when the dispute began. The man struck the woman in the head and she fell to the ground. Once she was on the ground, the man threw a chair at the victim and she went unconscious. The victim suffered a cut to her face and bruising. The individual who threw the chair fled the scene. The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.

47 Precinct

Tuesday, May 30 at 3:15 p.m. — An unknown man approached the victim, an 11-year-old, near White Plains Road and Magenta Street, and grabbed him from behind and demanded his money. The man stated that he had a knife and told the victim to enter Bronx Park. Again he demanded money, taking the victim’s wallet. He then threw the victim to the ground and pulled the victim’s pants down. The young man resisted physically and then fled the location. The man cops are looking for is a light-skinned man between 17-years-old and 19-years-old with a slim build and braces on his teeth. He was last seen wearing white and blue sneakers, a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Friday, June 2 at 3:22 p.m. — Cops got a report of a robbery that took place inside an apartment building near Nereid and Wickham avenues. The individual approached a 13-year-old man, displayed a knife and demanded property. The victim complied and allowed the individual to search his pockets and his backpack. The thief then took the victim’s wallet and rummaged through it, throwing it to the ground when he realized there was nothing of value in it. He then fled. He is described as a black man who 16-years-old to 19-years-old.
