43 Precinct

Saturday, July 1 at 4:20 a.m. — Cops received a report of a shooting inside a blue SUV in front of 512 Commonwealth Avenue. A black man, approximately 25-years-old and having a medium complexion, sat in the car with a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old man. At one point, he took at a gun and pointed it at the back of the head of the 23-year-old. He then shot the 24-year-old in the left shoulder and the mouth before exiting the car and fleeing. Both victims were transported to Jacobi Medical Center where the 23-year-old man was in critical condition and the other victim was in stable condition.

46 Precinct

Wednesday, July 5 at 12:30 a.m.– A police officer was shot and killed while sitting in a NYPD mobile command center vehicle near East 183rd Street and Morris Avenue. The suspect, who was later killed in a shoot-out with police on Morris Avenue after he pulled a revolver on cops, walked up to the window of the large vehicle, approaching the office. He began shooting through its glass and hit the police officer in her head with a bullet. She was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she later died.

47 Precinct

Wednesday, July 5 at 6:33 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 of a man shot in front of 729 E. 213th Street. Cops arriving on the scene found an adult man with gunshot wounds to his chest. Responding EMS pronounced him dead on the scene.

52 Precinct

Monday, June 12 at 9:45 p.m. — Police received a report of a man who was hit with his own scooter by another man near Bedford Park Boulevard and Decatur Avenue. A black man who is about 30-years-old and 220 pounds, took the victim’s scooter, picked it up and began to hit him with the vehicle. The victim sustained bruising and cuts to the face, and declined medical attention at the scene. The victim was a 38-year-old man.
