A local plastic and reconstructive surgeon practice has provided a lift to the community – in more ways than one.

Bronx Plastic Surgery, located at 2425 Eastchester Road and headed by Robert D. Goldstein M.D., Fellow American College of Surgeons and Heather A. Erhard M.D., F.A.C.S., has provided advanced cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery for over 25 years, helping Bronx residents feel good and look great.

The practice specializes in everything from face procedures involving cheeks, dimples and eyelids to more extreme surgeries such as breast reconstruction, liposuction and tummy tucks.

They also offer a wide range of Dermal Filler and Botox treatments, as well as an array of breast procedures and body lifts.

Bronx Plastic Surgery even assists patients who traveled to other countries to get the same surgery at a cheaper price but are unhappy with the results.

To top it all off, they also offer treatment for skin cancer patients.

Goldstein, who has been in practice for over 30 years, has always said that his business puts patients first, providing them with a positive experience, quality plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they deserve.

“This is a very close-knit area (referring to the Bronx) – and it feels great to have been in business here as long as I have,” said Goldstein, who is affiliated with the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Montefiore Medical Center, as well as on the teaching staff of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

“I’ve been here a long time and I’ve taken care of entire families and multiple generations – and that has probably been the most special thing about this practice – the patients.”

In addition, he added that every decision for every patient is crucially and vitally important.

“Injecting Botox and Dermal Fillers is the easy part – the difficult part is deciphering what patient is right for what procedure,” Goldstein said. “We are all very hands on here – and we treat patients and their situation very seriously – as they are putting their trust in our hands.”

Erhard, Goldstein’s business partner since 2004, is Board Certified in both general and plastic surgery, and is professionally affiliated with the Bronx County Medical Society, among other organizations.

“For over a decade, Goldstein has been a terrific mentor for me, has given me great support and I have learned so much from him in this practice,” said Erhard, who met Goldstein when she was training at Montefiore Medical Center and specializes in breast reconstructive surgery. “Along with working alongside him, it has been a great experience working and living in the Bronx – serving patients that have depended on us for service for many years.”

Both have deep Bronx roots – Goldstein lived in Riverdale for nearly a decade and Erhard has been a Riverdale resident for the last 20 years.
