Permits have been filed for the construction of an 8-story residential building at 3180 Villa Ave. in the Bedford Park neighborhood of the Bronx.

The proposed development, situated between East 205th Street and Van Cortlandt Avenue East, would rise 75 feet and encompass 17,283 square feet of residential space divided into 27 units. With an average unit size of 640 square feet, these apartments are likely to be rentals.

While the proposed development would not have accessory parking, it would feature a rear yard measuring in at 35 feet in length. Additionally, the property is located within close proximity to the Mosholu Parkway subway station, which services the 4 train.

The proposed project is being spearheaded by A.L. Lowy. Nikolai Katz Architect is listed in the applications as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not yet been filed. An estimated date for the completion of the construction for this building has not yet been announced.
