Permits have been filed for a new four-story residential building at 1746 Monroe Ave. in the Mount Hope neighborhood of the Bronx.

The proposed development, located between East 175th Street and the Cross Bronx Expressway, will stand 50 feet tall and encompass 13,499 square feet of residential space across 13 units. With an average unit size of 1,038 square feet, the building is expected to house condominiums.

The project will include a penthouse and a 30-foot rear yard, adding to its appeal. Its proximity to the 174th-175th Street subway station, which serves the B and D trains, offers easy transit access for future residents.

Chaim Eisdorfer is leading the project, with Nikolai Katz Architect serving as the architect of record.

No demolition permits have been filed for the site, and the project’s anticipated completion date has not yet been announced.
