P.S. 36 students recently worked with visual arts teacher Jason Holt; Deborah Yasinsky, LCAG curator of Education and teachers Yolanda Almanza and Andrea Otero to create a 3-story mural on the school’s up and downstair case. The collaborative experience built community among the participating students who gained skills in drawing and painting techniques and an understanding of street art and graffiti style art originating in the Bronx.

P.S. 36 students, visual arts teacher Jason Holt and others admired the staircase’s mural.
