Police are seeking three suspects in connection with a deadly shooting that took place on Sunday, May 19, in the Bronx.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 10:50 p.m. near 4032 Ely Ave., in the 47th Precinct. Upon arrival, they found two men with gunshot wounds.

Joseph Johnson, 30, of Needham Avenue, was shot in the head and later pronounced dead at NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi. A 40-year-old man, who suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg, was treated at the same hospital and is currently in stable condition.

The NYPD has released descriptions of three suspects captured on surveillance footage in connection with the homicide.

The first suspect is described as having a medium build and medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a navy-blue baseball cap, a navy blue and yellow hooded sweatshirt, matching sweatpants and blue sneakers.

The second man has a medium build and medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a green Nike sweatshirt, black jeans and black sneakers. Meanwhile, a third man has a slim build and medium complexion, and was seen on video footage wearing a navy-blue hooded sweatshirt, navy blue sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.
