NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi |North Central Bronx Hospital marked National Injury Prevention Day on Monday, Nov. 18.
The hospital was joined in recognition of the day by Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, representatives from the “Stop the Bleed,” and members of Vision Zerio initiatives. Hospital personnel also participated along with Stand Up to Violence, Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinators and others.
“Stop the Bleed” demonstrations were held during the event. Additionally, attendees were instructed on how to properly fit a child’s car seat. Materials on traffic crash prevention were also distributed.
