New York Botanical Garden’s Black History Month Celebration

Black History Month was celebrated in style last week at the New York Botanical Garden. The annual Black History Month celebration on Wednesday, February 24 featured awe-inspiring traditional African workshops, exhibits and dance performances. The second half of the program featured a full program consisting of African history presentations in addition to local school children participating alongside the Bambara Drum and Dance Ensemble during a riveting traditional African dance performance.
