A delegation from Adelphi University School of Social Work and Kwansei University in Japan joined Alissa Mallow, Montefiore Medical Group director, and her team of social workers on Monday, August 7 at Montefiore’s Comprehensive Family Care Center.
Montefiore social workers demonstrated how they integrate social work into primary care for the Kwansei students, many of whom were visiting the U.S. for the first time and eager to learn how social work can support underserved communities.
