The children in the Leake & Watts Head Start program in Soundview got a special surprise on the first day of school. They got a visit from a ‘Care Bear’ who visited and handed out 40 Care Bears to share as part of ‘National Share Your Care Day.’ Budding philanthropist, Zachary Kaplan, age 10, led the day of sharing.
