On Sunday, November 22, EF Sports and Assemblyman Michael Blake hosted the Thanksgiving Invitational Basketball Championship Game at the Classic Community Center. The event marked the first time that over 20 teams with more than 200 players, which included men from city agencies such as the NYPD, FDNY, NYCHA, have been invited to compete for the title of the ‘Best of the Borough’ in basketball. Proceeds from the event were donated towards Thanksgiving meals for underprivileged youth and anti-bullying programs.
