Hoop ‘Wizard’ slam dunks a literacy workshop

He’s a Wizard, alright — both on the basketball court and in the bank account.

NBA player for the Washington Wizards Drew Gooden stopped by the Santa Maria School on Zerega Avenue Tuesday, June 24 for a financial literacy workshop run by Price Waterhouse Coopers — one of the world’s largest consulting firms.

Gooden and and Mitch Roschelle, leader of PwC’s “youth education initiatives” take questions from the students.
