Bronxites ate, drank and were merry while celebrating a centuries old Italian tradition in Belmont’s ‘Little Italy’ on Sunday, September 9. Hosted by the Belmont Business Improvement District, the festival honored the Ferragosto tradition dating back to the Roman Empire which recognizes the end of the harvest season. This year’s edition featured loads of delicious Italian cuisine and live performances from Elio Scaccio, Nick Vero, JulieAnna, Natalie Pinto, Frankie Sands, Commedia dell’Arte and Rock Steady.
