FDNY Battle E. 156th Street Fire

Firefighters made quick work extinguishing a fire inside a 5-story apartment building last week in Longwood. Approximately 12 FDNY units and 60 firefighters responded to a call of a fourth-floor fire at 883 E. 165th Street on Thursday, March 23 at 11:34 a.m. Firefighters were able to gain control over the blaze by 12:52 p.m. No injuries or deaths were reported from the incident.
