Artist Kondi S. Nikabou led a “Paint & Sip” event for seniors at the Edenwald Houses in the northeast Bronx in celebration of Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Kondi Nikabou is an artist and designer, as well as a security guard at the Edenwald Houses. He recently completed a painting of the Edenwald Houses, and residents and staff at the development loved it so much that they asked him to teach a class for seniors at the development as a Valentine’s Day activity.
In addition to the painting class, attendees enjoyed mocktails and Valentine’s Day snacks. The event was co-sponsored by the Edenwald Tenant Association, Camber Property Group and C+C Apartment Management.
