Dr. Fulger, who did her fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed her internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. A native of Romania, she has over 25 years of medical experience.

Ilmana Fulger, MD, St. Barnabas Hospital Hematology/Oncology division director, has been named the 2019 recipient of the Bronx County Medical Society’s ‘Peer to Peer’ Excellence in Medicine Recognition Award.
Dr. Fulger will be presented the award at the 16th annual Doctors Day Event on Thursday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at Mercy College Conference Center.
