Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. hosted ‘Mese della Cultura Italiana’, the official Bronx celebration of Italian American heritage and culture month on Thursday, October 8 at the Schiff Family Great Hall at the Bronx Zoo. This year’s honorees included Mike Francesa, host of ‘Mike’s On’ WFAN Radio show; Sal Abbatiello, entrepreneur and owner of Fever Records; Donna Cirolia, Coca-Cola northeast’s regional public affairs and communication vice president and the Peter Vallone, Sr., former NYC Council Speaker.
