1st Annual Diwali Motorcade Brightens Spirits

In celebration of Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, the inaugural Diwali Motorcade was held on Saturday, November 5 in Morris Park.

The parade started in front of Lotus Flame Restaurant and ended at Bronx Park which was followed by a dazzling cultural performance commemorating the holiday.

Lotus Flame Restaurant co-owners Savitri McCrea (l) and Jennifer Garib celebrated Diwali in style.
