On Monday, Dec. 12, at approximately 7 p.m., a 58-year-old female victim was walking when an unknown individual approached her from behind and displayed a firearm  at the corner of Wales Avenue and East 149 Street. The individual then forcibly removed the victim’s purse and fled the location heading north on Wales Avenue and then east on East 150 Street. The victim was not injured. Reported property stolen includes the purse, which contained a cellphone, $70 cash, bank cards and personal ID. The individual being sought is described as a male with a dark complexion, thin build, last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, a blue winter jacket, black pants and blue boots.

It was reported to police that on Monday, Dec. 12, at approximately 7:15 p.m., a 14-year-old female victim was walking westbound on the south side of East 167 Street when an unknown individual approached the victim and offered her a cell phone. The victim declined the phone, at which time the individual grabbed her breasts and buttocks before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. The victim refused medical attention; the Special Victims Squad is investigating.

The individual was observed on surveillance cameras in front of 108 East 167 St. and is described as an adult male, medium build, brown eyes, facial hair with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a bright yellow hooded sweatshirt, a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue surgical mask, a dark colored hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black and orange backpack with grey Nike sneakers.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached media in connection to a grand larceny auto that occurred on Nov. 14

At approximately 3:08 a.m., inside 700 Exterior St., three unidentified male individuals entered an unlocked black 2022 Tesla that was parked inside the parking garage. The male individuals then drove the vehicle to parts unknown. The vehicle was later recovered in the confines of the 52nd precinct. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.

The individuals being sought are described as three males, approximately 15 to 20 years of age.

At 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, a 43-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified male individual in a deli located at 159 East 170 St. The individual displayed a knife and removed approximately $845 dollars from the victim’s bag before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.   

45th Precinct

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual in the attached video and photo regarding an assault that occurred on Dec. 11.

At 1:35 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male assaulted in front of the ‘Plush 101 Lounge’ located at 53 Westchester Square. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered a 33-year-old male victim with a single gunshot wound to his foot. The victim was engaged in a verbal dispute with an unidentified male, which escalated and led to the victim being shot. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospital/Jacobi where he has since been treated and released.

The alleged perpetrator is described as an adult male, dark complexion, heavyset, with a beard. He was last seen wearing a black winter coat, beige button-down shirt, blue jeans, brown and white sneakers. 

46th Precinct

On Dec. 15 at 8:02 p.m. police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 189 Burnside Ave. Upon arrival, police discovered two individuals shot. The first victim was a 32-year-old male who was shot in the head and removed to St Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The second victim was a 27-year-old male who was shot in the groin and removed to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. 

The deceased victim has been identified as Johnny Gaston, 32, of 1311 Chisholm St. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following two persons of interest wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred on Dec. 8.

At approximately 5:08 a.m., two individuals approached a 61-year-old male victim in front of 221 East 188 St., displayed a knife, and forcibly removed his moped. The individuals fled northbound on Valentine Avenue and toward Fordham Road.

On Thursday, Dec. 15, at approximately 12:25 a.m., two unidentified male individuals entered the gas station located at 1945 Bartow Ave. and demanded cash at gunpoint. One of the male individuals displayed a black and silver firearm while the other male individual went behind the counter and removed approximately $1,900 from the cash register and approximately $1,100 in assorted cigarette brands and placed them in a black garbage bag. The male individuals then fled on foot to parts unknown. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The individuals are described as two males, with dark complexion, heavy build and last seen wearing all black clothing with face masks.

On Saturday, Dec. 10, at approximately 10 p.m., at a construction site located at 4519 White Plains Rd., an unknown male forced a 57-year-old female victim to perform a sex act. The male then fled the location on foot. The victim was not physically injured. The individual being sought is described as a male with a light complexion and a heavy build, last seen wearing a black du-rag, a green camouflage jacket, gray sweatpants and black and white sneakers.

49th Precinct

On Saturday, Dec. 17, at approximately 7:29 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 2931 Morgan Ave. Upon arrival, police observed a 39-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his chest. EMS transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing. The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.

It was reported to police that on Monday, Dec. 12, at approximately 3:30 p.m. a 14-year-old female was on board a BX11 bus approaching the intersection of Shakespeare Avenue and Edward L. Grant Highway when an unknown male grabbed her upper thigh over her clothing. When the bus stopped at Shakespeare Avenue the individual exited and fled on foot to parts unknown. The victim was not physically injured.

The individual is described as a male approximately 50-years-old, 5’9″ tall, 170 pounds, with a light complexion, medium build, last seen wearing a black jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black sneakers and carrying a large black backpack.
