The Lighthouse Guild joined with City Comptroller Scott Stringer and Councilman James Vacca in hosting a diabetes and vision loss prevention community edition event in Throggs Neck on Tuesday, October 7. The event took place at the Northeast Bronx Senior Center at St. Bendict’s Church. The education event covered the resources available to reduce associated complications, avoid vision loss, and improve quality of life.
