Rivers Run Community Garden and Co-op City Little League co-hosted an Earth Day Parade and Celebration on Saturday, April 22 in Co-op City.
Members of the community marched from the Co-op City Greenway Stage to the Co-op City Baseball Field to celebrate environmental awareness.
The march was led by grand marshal Leslie Peterson, Riverbay Board member and Rivers Run Community Garden Steering Committee vice president and the CYO Sea Cadet Corps Marching Band under the direction of James Palmer.
