The Bronx Chamber of Commerce toasted several local Italian American leaders at its annual Italian Heritage Luncheon on Thursday, October 18 at F&J Pine Restaurant. This year’s honorees included Thomas Messina, Congressman Joseph Crowley’s district representative; Dante Albertie, Lehman College Lehman Stages director; Gerri Aprea Colon, Throggs Neck Merchant Association event coordinator; Dennis Dion Nardone, WVOX 1460 AM talk radio broadcaster; Tony Salimbene, AHRC NYC Bronx Adult Center community support supervisor and Joe Carnivale of Sassone Wholesale Groceries.
