In honor of Women’s History Month, Community Board 7 hosted its second annual Women’s Empowerment Summit on Saturday, March 24 at Lehman College’s Lovinger Theater. Themed as Financial Empowerment, this year’s networking event featured guest speakers Councilwoman Vanessa Gibson; NYPD Community Affairs chief Nilda Hofmann; Sandra Erickson, Sandra Erickson Realty president and CB 7 board member; Bronx Parks Commissioner Iris Rodriguez-Rosa; Adaline Walker Santiago, CB 7 chairwoman and AWS Life Directions NYC entrepreneur; Ischia Bravo, CB 7 district manager; Rachel Bradsaw, Little Harriet Productions CEO; Samantha Diliberti, OrangeU Going founder; KC Copeland, Morgan Stanley Technology and Operations vice president; Suzzane Carter, Law Offices of Suzzane M. Carter attorney; Maria Khury, Dominican Day Parade chairwoman and Rhina Valentin, La Reina del Barrio Inc founder.
