Ingenuity: Art & Entrepreneurship of the Bronx
Starts at 6:30 p.m.; free
The Bronx River Art Center (BRAC) will host a roundtable discussion with artists Stephanie Ayala, Michael Paul Britto, Jose Tutiven, Jomar “MSVDA” Velez, Edgar Santana and Lisa DuBois, all of which are featured in BRAC’s current exhibition, entitled Ingenuity: Art & Entrepreneurship of the Bronx.
BRAC says, “Ingenuity becomes a testament to the Bronx’s dynamic essence and cultural significance, vividly portraying its strength and vitality through the prism of artistic expression.”

Storytime with NoNieqa Ramos
Starts at 11 a.m. and noon; $8-14
Children ages five through 12 are invited to storytime with author and educator NoNieqa Ramos at the Bronx Children’s Museum. Ramos will read their book Best Believe: The Tres Hermanas, a Sisterhood for the Common Good, which tells the story of three sisters from Puerto Rico who moved to New York City and grew up to be leaders in the Bronx.
This event is $8 for children, $10 for seniors and $14 for adults. Find out more information here.
NOW PLAYING! Acting and Theater Study for Adults
From 1 to 2 p.m.; free
Start-up Bronx actors seeking experience and feedback on their craft can join New York director Johnny Culver at the Kingsbridge Library this Saturday to participate in an acting workshop for adults. The class is designed to help participants’ acting feel more natural, which is done through ensemble building games, script analysis, scene study and stage production.

Art in the Park: Make Your Own Eclipse Viewer
From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; free
Already thinking ahead to April’s solar eclipse? Bronxites are invited to bring their families and prepare by crafting their very own pinhole eclipse viewers at Roberto Clemente State Park.

26th Annual Throggs Neck St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Starts at noon; free
Dress in green for St. Patty’s Day and watch the 26th annual Throggs Neck parade celebrating Irish heritage and culture. The parade will begin at noon at the corner of East Tremont and Lafayette Avenues. The parade route is roughly a mile and a half long, ending on Harding Avenue near Brinsmade.
