A community gathering celebrated literacy, language acquisition and preschool education on March 1 at the Birch Pelham Bay Early Childhood Center as part of Read Across America Day.
Council Member Kristy Marmorato, Deputy Borough President Janet Peguero, CPSE Admin Natalie Tirado-Buehl and Young Professionals Board Member Rahael Ghebretzadick were in attendance.
The children and the visitors read “Go Dog Go” and complete various activities related to the book.
