The Annual African-American Abrazo was hosted by Senator Ruben Diaz, Sr., Assemblyman Luis Sepulveda, Assemblyman Michael Blake and Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo on Friday, February 20 at Maestro’s Caterers. The elected officials honored Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins; Rev. Dimas Salaberrios, president of the Concerts of Prayer Greater New York, Neva Shillingford-King, executive vice president of 1199 SEIU; and Abraham Jones, executive director of Claremont Neighborhood Centers
