Chairman Patrick McManus opened the gathering with a reflection on the key events and stand-out figures stemming from the November elections. He also called on those in attendance to consider stepping up and running for office in 2025, urging active participation as the party sets its sights on the next election cycle.

Council Member Kristy Marmorato, who represents northeast Bronx, discussed her two years in office, highlighting her advocacy work, including efforts to improve safety around e-scooters, her opposition to the controversial “City of Yes” zoning initiatives, and her fight against the development of Bailey’s Casino.

During the meeting, a special proclamation was presented to Jim Livrieri, who dedicated nearly 100 hours volunteering at the party’s newly established headquarters at 1478 Williamsbridge Rd.

The meeting served as both a celebration of the party’s recent achievements and a rallying point for future endeavors, with Duran’s mayoral bid energizing members as they prepare for the 2025 campaign cycle.
