Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., in collaboration with Montefiore and Healthfirst, hosted his annual ‘back to school’ literacy and health fair on Saturday, August 29. Youth of all ages attended and each received a free backpack and school supplies. There was entertainment and the distribution of health information at the event, which occurred at P.S. 18 in Melrose.
