Assemblyman Victor Pichardo held a giveaway of smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms at his district office on Wednesday, January 27. The giveaway came on the heels of a six-alarm fire on Valentine Avenue in December, and a three-alarm blaze on the Grand Concourse more recently. Pichardo has partnered with Senator Gustavo Rivera and Councilman Ritchie Torres, who will also be holding similar giveaways in their district offices in the coming months.
